Giant FastRoad 2 for use with gravel?
Hello
new to biking and the forum in general. Have been roaming around here the last few weeks though. Just ran across a deal on a giant fastroad 2 bike for a nice deal. Was in the market for a gravel/paved road type bike such as the giant anyroad but couldn't pass up the deal. Was wondering if I could just basically swap out for a wider tire to make it more gravel friendly? If so, any recommendations? Looking to do light gravel trail, nothing heavy. Thanks

Try some 28s on the wheels. enough clearance? Then try some 32s. A shop should be willing to test fit some tires to see what the widest one is.
Based on the pictures on Giant's website, thats some tight clearance, so maybe 28s?
I wouldnt go near gravel roads around me with 28s. But crushed limestone paths around me would work fine.
Nice spec'd flat bar road bike you picked up!
