Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

25mm tire fit caad10?

Just picked up the reynolds r four from performance and unsure what tire size (conti gp2000sII's) to get. Usually run 23's but with all the hype around 25's lately I'd like to try them out. Only trouble I'm having is I'm not sure if they'll fit the caad10. Specs say the r fours have a rim width of 20.8mm. you guys have any insight into whether the 25's would fit?

they fit my 2014 fine.
those rims are fairly narrow so don't expect 25 to measure 25 on the rims, they will become a light bulb profile when mounted.

I'd be shocked if they didn't. Most non-aero road bikes will barely fit a 28mm tire on a narrow-ish rim.

I guess that might beg the question, would the 25's be "incorrect" for this width rim?

False alarm, sorry guys. Forgot I had some 25mm Serfas left over from another build. Fit great, thanks again!

Nope, I would just expect them to be narrower than 25 when mounted.
