Cataract surgery complete, now what sun glasses
Just completed cataract surgery on both eyes and no longer need perscription sun glasses. It has been many years since I could wear non-perscription sun glasses, so any recommendations? Since perscription has been so expensive, I do not mind spending a little for good glasses now.

Lots of choices, but amongst roadies Oakley seems to be a popular choice. And if you scan the UCI Grand Tour teams, POC, Rudy Project, Smith Optics, Spy, Revo, Uvex...you get the idea: Cycling Sunglasses - Bicycling Glasses | Competitive Cyclist
I wear Oakleys for bright sun, and Rudy Project photochromic lenses for cloudier or dusk rides.

Twenty years ago, after wearing glasses for 30 years, the last time I messed with contact lenses I went out and bought the cheapest sunglasses I could find. It felt good!

Congratulations on your cataract surgery. I hope it's working fantastically.
Me too, Left eye in June and Right eye in August. A fantastic improvement. I'm using my old Oakley sunshades for riding, and 2x magnifiers for reading. Suits me well! Best wishes

I used to always buy Oakleys... they are cool and frankly most cyclists wear them but... the lens scratch easier and are expensive to replace. I now buy my cycling glasses at Target - they are called Ironman or something. Work great and if the lens scratches, I throw them away. I bet you will find with your new surgery, expensive lens are not necessary. I had Cataract then Lasix surgery two years ago and have never been happier!
