Single Speed Cross Bike

So this season I was unable to race, big move forced the sale of my Niner RLT. That being said I do want to get something soon since everyone is blowing out '16 models. I am trying to go single speed and am looking hard at the Nature Boys from All city. I would like to think of other steel options as well as maybe carbon or ti. The little research I have done I am thinking that the Niner BSB would be an option as well, just not 100% sure an EBB could be put in the frame. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated everyone!

EBB frame is usually building in the same BB shell as the front BB of a Tandem.

Much bigger than a standard BB shell , in order to make any actual chain tension differences..

Hit the Austin bike shops, that is where the owners may be willing and able to free up capital for spring purchases.

That is what I am thinking too. I do still work in the industry and have access to better prices from a few brands, but All-city is the only one we can get that I have seen to tick off a bunch of boxes.
-Disc brakes
-Single speed
-Steel, Ti, Carbon
-Mechanical Disc
-56-57cm TT and 54-56cm ST

Another options is to find a BB30/PF30 frameset that you like and use the BEER Comp Eccentric for the BB. This will open up a bunch of new options for you.

From what I've seen those are similar to the Wheels Mfg. BBs. I think Beer is no longer around, but it does offer more room for thought.

Back in 2014 Raleigh introduced a couple of belt-drive SS CX bikes. You may have to go used but I think it checks all of your boxes.

They are still around. It looks like the website may be down but the parts still exist. I'll ask them what's up. I race with these guys.

I'm fairly sure that the Bicycle Business (our LBS) has them in stock. The Bicycle Business

First set out a budget. And a max tire size.

I will say from my own shopping....that Ti cross bikes are very few and not cheap-even before entering in the other elements of your shopping list. Landing a pre-built bike with your wants is unlikely in Titanium, which leads into bespoke territory and $$$$

Plan B is a sliding rear dropout frame .. Paragon Machine is one of the dropout makers,

the disc mount Moves back with the wheel axle .

So the disc and caliper move as one.

Hey everyone,
Thank you for the responses. I ended up trading a Domane I had for a Niner RLT. I have had this bike in the past and really did enjoy it plus the deal was too good to pass up. I'll post pics whenever it comes in. Thank you again everyone!!

You do a 2016 white/orange? I do like the frameset (bosses everywhere) aside from the paint and the PF30 BB.
