Nitto Noodles?

I've got a spare set of Shimano R400 brake levers sitting around and was thinking of going from risers to drops on my Steamroller. The R400 hoods seem better suited to drops with long ramps like Nitto Noodles.

Anyone use them on their fixed gears? I've searched this forum and responses always seem to be "I use them on my roadie" with compact drops being preferred for fixed.

Compact drops are definitely the trend with more modern bikes, as they're usually built with shorter headtubes and outfitted with long, low stems. The Noodle seems like it'd be a good match for the Steamroller.

That's the bar/brake lever set-up I'm using on my LD/FG machine, works for me.

i dislike how the noodles have a lack of flat ramp transition to the brake hood. short shallow modern bars for me.
