I did not buy it thru my local bike shop, because they don't sell them there..
My WTR had to be imported , by someone bringing it back from Europe.., Which did happen..

With 7 bikes a photo of one of them does not say anything. And to post all 7 and state what that means would mean writing a book. It would be best if I skip this one. Multi-split personality?

What (do) your bike(s) say about you?
I don't know and am not sure I want to know. Whatever they say, they keep to themselves. They go to dead silence when I walk into the garage.

My group of bicycles, the roadies listed below and mtn/utility/tandem not listed, show:
a preference for road bikes.
a need to experience modern frames (CF,Ti,new steel) and vintage.
a desire to run almost the entire fleet on nice tubulars.
The cost of vintage allows me to sample an entire era of race and somewhat racy bikes. 70's & 80's. My old body enjoys a bit of vertical compliance so the hunt is not for the stiffest or most radical racer.
.....let me look for a pic.....

My bike suggests my mAss is a little greater than it would like.
It would also like a six cylinder engine instead of the four.
My bike wants to ride on smoother and less stony roads,
Plus it wants to not get caught in the rain.
I asked my bike it it was time for new paint, N+1 ?
Now my bike is quiet.

My bike says I'm lazy... But it's an E-Assist bike. Dang, the pic is blurrier than I remembered it...

All three of my bikes are reflective about my make up. Nothing extra on them, basic diamond frames, no fluff or extra baggage. I prefer to just get out and ride where and as far as I wish. Maybe I will pursue distance events at some point, they will be adapted to that task then.

My bike announces to Serious Cyclists™ that I am a 'newbie' or 'beginner', 'inexperienced', never ride more than 10 miles at a time, and am "intimidated" (yes, that's a quote from a recent post in General) by drop bars.

What I want it to say, and what it says to others are two different things. I would like it to keep its mouth shut. However, it tells other riders that I should get a lighter bike and not work so hard.

Comfortably worn. Used hard, but not abused. Shows the scars we get with age.
Those descriptions fit both the bike and the owner!
Or I could also say that we are lovingly maintained with old parts. Some used more than others...

I like the classic racers. Fast is what I like, topping my best ride is my driving dynamic.

I, too, favor the classics (see signature), and I like to keep older equipment, including cars, running. I am also fiscally prudent, with an occasional splurge (CyclArt paint job and new maroon Brooks Pro saddle on the 1959 Capo). I bike for transportation (UO-8, which now has panniers, as well as the handlebar bag and rack), as well as for exercise/recreation. My artist wife appreciates the designs of many classic cars and bicycles.
