Limited edition Pashley Guv'Nor
This is number 7 of 50 limited edition Guv'Nors made for the Tweed Run in 2011 jointly with Ralph Lauren. The bike has a 2-speed kickback Sturmey Archer hub which works easily and flawlessly. Given how limited a release it is, there is very little information on this bike available on the Internet. I found the most here: Perth Vintage Cycles: Limited Edition Pashley Guvnor release in 2011.
I am attaching the ad for the bike.
Thanks!

Striking looking! In 2011, new price of 2200 clams. Dropped by a third (condition looks good) I'd say $1000 to 1200 on an offer. So long as all is working proper. 1466 would be 2/3rds for age. Not really vintage-so just my guess. Really like the look of that bike.

I don't think it will sell anywhere near its original 2.2K retail price......
Even in perfect condition and if it was #1 of the 50, it won't because there's really nothing super special about this bike, except for the very low production number.
800 bucks max, IMO but most likely more like 750 bucks in most situations. lower serial number and if it were in a cleaner, un-ridden condition or MIB, then maybe 900ish to 1K, but it will sit for a while till a Pashley super fan happens to come along.
Just so many more interesting real C&V bikes available out there at similar value or less......
I doubt if any of these were even sold for the full retail price.
Marketing and pricing of this bike seems to be just a part of the retro bike fad nutsyness from a few years ago that's mostly over now.
JMOs....

Still learning
I love the Guv'nor, but the lofty price is too rich for my checkbook. Ralph Lauren will license their trademark to any overpriced luxury manufacturer, even Airstream at one point. I don't think the RL affiliation resonates with the prospective buyers. The deep blue and yellow is sexy to a Michigan Wolverine or Cal Bear, but too rich to park in the great outdoors on campus. You're in the East Bay close to Berkeley, so maybe there is a buyer lurking.
I would list it for $1,100 and take any offer over $800. Obviously new Guv'nors, not special editions, have a problem at list price.
Pashley Guv'nor Plus 2 - British Bicycle Company
