Hello from the Midwest

Started biking a bit again about 2 years ago. Trying to increase my exercise and hopefully drop some weight. I’ve been reading quite a few threads here and there seems to be a high level of knowledge within the group. Glad to be following along with the information.

Yea, but if your location is accurate, you live in one of the absolutely beautiful parts of the state.

I do! I'm very lucky to live where I live.

I’d love to ride up there someday. Last summer my wife and I road the Charlevoix to Petosky trail and loved it. Still below the bridge, but anything is “up north” from where I live. I’m 2 miles from the Indiana border and love the northern part of the state, especially the U.P. We just started riding a bit 2 years ago. Our rides are more for exercise and enjoyment than speed, although we do try to get the heart rate up during the ride. The last couple of years we’ve done about 600 miles each year, which I’d like to increase, but work and my fishing habit gets in the way.
Thanks for the message and enjoy your scenery!

The Little Traverse Wheelway? I didn't know it existed until just now. That looks really nice. Am checking it out online now. Looks fun!

The northern lower nice. I've always been fond of the areas around Cadillac and Grayling, and Mio and Lewiston.

I hear ya on the work thing. But 600 miles is pretty good.
