Timbuk2 Messenger Bags - Medium

I recently purchased these (off of eBay) in hopes of replacing my worn out one. For different reasons, neither of them worked for me so I am looking to pass on a good deal to someone that might be able to.

Decided to keep this one for school events.
New Price of $15 plus shipping. con US only, PayPal only.

#1 Blue & Yellow:
has seen some use but in good condition. This one does not have a separate laptop pocket.

Yeah. My favorite one is only worn out on the inside. I ordered a small in hopes that it will work.

These will be a good deal for someone.

For what it's worth, the yellow/blue "triathlon" one looks exactly the same (except color) as the one I used to have, which I bought when they were still handmade in San Francisco, in the Mission district. I loved that bag, and my wife accidentally donated it one day. Sad face.

EDIT: Sorry, I wasn't just musing, but rather was trying to make the point that the blue/yellow one looks to be of exceptional quality. I used mine regularly/daily for years with no significant wear.

They are both very nice bags. The Y&B has seen a little more use. I ordered it because those are my HS (I teach) colors. I intended on covering with patches as my old one is.

This is from their website regarding the most current version. I would say they are about the same. I can get exact dimensions tonight when I get home.

FWIW, my medium Timbuk2 "Classic Messenger" bag fits perfectly in a Wald 137 basket.

What about a cross chest strap? I jump with a Chrome bag and always like to use that strap. Those both look nice!

GLWTS!

fwiw - love the brand, I've been torturing a "Hunchback" rear rack trunk for years & only 1 Velcro strap tore from my abuse. but the design allows me to insert a new strap of my own.

here's someone's video about their bag

You should! I’m surprised you don’t have a messenger bag.

Yes. They have the main cross body and then another little one that locks the bag on. It’s like a big hug.

Yeah. I have had several. One got stolen along with a bike. It was the same as the Blue and Grey one. My current one, that is in good shape on the outside, but I have managed to rip 2 of the interior pockets by forcing too much in them.

I love them and will continue to use them... just wanted to pass these on to someone.

i have the same model as that first one. I've had it about twenty years. It used to ride daily on my back on both bicycle and motorcycle travel. It even went cross county on that back of my Yamaha FJ1200 from Philly to San diego.
One time it was strapped to my back seat and somehow fell off, getting sucked into the rear wheel. Caused me to stop immediately but thankfully not crash. it ripped a small hole in the front of the bag and left some black marks, but aside from that to this day its still useful.
