Is this a bike a decent deal?

I'm 6 feet 6 inches tall and weight 245 so I need a big bike; I think a stem riser or more upright handlebars might be needed too. I've always wanted a single speed bike but finding one (or any bike) that fits me has been difficult. I currently ride a Trek 4300 mountain bike that has been modified quite a lot but IMO still doesn't fit me perfectly.
Any thoughts on this bike would be very much appreciated.

Me, if the local bike looks good, I would prefer that over the mail order that has to be assembled, and does not include extra stuff.

The new one can't be delivered until August so yes, I think the FB Marketplace one is a good deal. Plus it is your size for the most part.

Any bike you can put to good use WITHOUT spending and replacing is not bad for $250.
If you are planning on buying than changing stem, bars, seatpost, then, not so much.
To quote my friend
"I've spent more than that on a bad meal"

Posting the ad for future reference. Yes, I think it's a fair price. You can always offer $200 and see if he'll take it. Even if not, you will get far more than $50 of enjoyment riding over the next 2 months. And it's hard to find a bike that large.
