Probably but don't see any indication of a X9.99 on the KMC website. The X9 is listed but the X9.99 could be an old version or is just some odd designation someone has given it or it could be a different chain in the X9 series.

The x9.99 has the inner and outer links plated . The x9 only has the outer links plated . I forget what they are plated with at the moment I know the gold is titanium nitrate.
