Vintage Saddle… Trash or Treasure

Found in a Vintage Store. Is this some ultra rare item or just a worn out one of a million?

Yep, ancient Persons or Mesinger. Might be worth a few bucks to somebody into old (meaning old) American bikes. Think skip link chains and New Departure coaster brakes.

Might make a neat shop stool. Can even get creative with a new cover.

I have one in pretty good condition that I've been thinking of doing that with.

You could use it to learn how to rebuild a saddle, cause you ain't gonna hurt that one any.
