Bontrager elite hub from 2020 Trek 920
I bought a used Trek 920 early this summer. I'm trying to track down a creak that is getting worse, and I'm suspecting something in the rear hub. In any case, I can't find any info on what these hubs are, who made them, etc. 100x15 in the front, 142x12 in the rear. My local LBS was nice enough to look into it and emailed some exploded view pics of what they thought were hubs from this bike, but they were boost hubs, so not the same.
If anyone can let me know anything about these hubs, I would appreciate it. TIA.

Unless you contact someone at Trek you'll likely never find out who makes them. I don't even think the Trek tech docs provide manufacturer. Only Trek dealers have access to the technical information.

Creaks sometimes come from sources that aren’t what we think. I have developed creaking sounds and have chased them time and time again. The last time I swore it was my bottom bracket and it was actually the front QR. it was felt tight but evidently wasn’t tight enough.

I wonder if that QR was a Mavic one... Andy
