I'm almost certain that's not the same Rob Jacobs that is RJ the bike guy. As far as I know the bike guy never posts pictures of himself anywhere, anyone else have info?

I've only seen his bare and socked feet in his videos.
Hope he's OK, I've learned a lot from him.

RJ is the best on youtube for bike repair, especially vintage bikes, IMO; better than Park Tool. Learned a lot from his videos and fixed my own bikes for the past couple of years. He method is very simple. He starts working on fixing bikes very gently without causing damage to the parts, makes a note of the order in which he removes the various parts, overhauls the part, and puts back the parts in the same order in which he removed them.
He probably got burnt out making, editing, and uploading videos on youtube. "Hey Viewers....Hey Viewers, .....Hey Viewers.......Hey Viewers....." There's some magic in his voice. Wish him the best wherever he is and whatever he is doing.
