Box of Tri-Color
Clearing out all of my Shimano 6400 Series (Tri-Color) components. Details of what's included follow. $125 for everything, including shipping to the US via USPS. Payment via PayPal please. Please ask if you'd like any additional info or pics. Here we go.....
FC-6400 Cranksets. Good tapers and pedal threads. Just one dustcap with a few marks on it.#1 has 170mm crankarms. A few light scratches to the drive side arm that I could not capture with a photo. 53/39 chainrings show very light wear.
#2 has 175mm crankarms. Both arms have “modest" scratches. NDS arm shows shoe rub wear. 53/39 chainrings. The 39 tooth ring shows enough wear that I’d replace it.
6400 Series Hubs. All three have perfect cups and cones. All rebuilt with new Gr-25 bearing balls.
#1 is FH-6402 (rear) with 32 spoke holes and 130mm OLN width. Freehub is super smooth.
#2 is HB-6400 (front) with 32 spoke holes and 100mm OLN width.
#3 is HB-6400 (front) with 28 spoke holes and 100mm OLN width.
One complete skewer plus one “nut”.
6400 Series Rear Derailleurs and Shifters. Jockey wheels are in good condition and freshly lubed. Both RDs show some road rash – look closely at the photo.
#1 is RD-6401
#2 is RD-6400
Downtube shifters are SL-6400. Left side is friction only and marked “Light Action”. Right side is index (7-speed) or friction mode.
6400 Series Brake Calipers and Levers.
Levers are BL-6402. Good hoods. See close up for road rash on levers.
Calipers are BR-6403. Dual pivot, recessed nut mounting, and 49mm to 39mm reach. No rust. Brake pads are near new. Front caliper has a small band (10mm x 1mm) of missing paint – see close up with pen pointing to this area....touch up or ignore!

@Dean51
Aren’t 6400 7 speed shifters...? I think the 6401s are 8 speed.
I don’t recall Tri-color being 6 speed, but maybe?

You are correct....'just verified 6 "clicks", so 7-speed. I've corrected the listing.
Thanks!

@KCT1986, you are correctamundo on the rear hub width. I edited the listing to 130mm.
Damn! This the second screw-up on this listing. I normally view myself as someone who is pretty careful with details. 'Another bubble burst!
Thanks!
Dean
