Ok I did the search and cannot find what I am looking for.
I am looking for a picture of a stamped rear dropout and a forged one. Side by side to see the in detail the difference. I have read and reread the descriptions. I just don't get it by the descriptions. I have seen a couple pics posted of forged but would like to see a pic of each side by side.
I think mine are forged can anyone tell by this pic? I would still like to see both so if I see a bike for sale its one more thing I can look at.

Looks like a stamped drop to me. But hard to really tell.
Here is a forged dropout...
I guess one characteristic is the forged dropout is a bit "meatier" where the skewers clamp. The edges are usually smoother. They may or may not have an adjusting screw.

A stamped dropout is punched out of a piece of sheet steel about 3/32-1/8 inch thick. They are usually flat with sharp edges. A forged dropout is made by putting a rough casting between a pair of dies. When the dies come together, the steel is formed into the shape of the dies. Some forgings are done in several stages, with each stage going a little closer to the final shape.
