Beginner Supplies?
Just got my first roadbike not too long ago (father gave me his 05 Specialized Roubaix Elite) and I have not just started riding it more often than just quick trips around town.
What are some basic necessary supplies I should get for this bike? So far all I have is a floorpump and some toeclips I bought at a local bike shop. nothing else..

Helmet, spare tube, multi-tool, mini/frame pump or CO2, and patch kit. A saddle pouch is very useful for carrying the small bits. Those are what i'd consider absolutely essential when out riding.

agree with above...but would add a decent pair of cycling shorts if you're doing fitness rides. Way better than mesh athletic shorts

Shorts are useful for rides longer than about 1hr.
If you ride in cooler weather, cover up. Any sports gear will do, eg running tights and windbreaker.
Gloves are handy for comfort and for protection if you take a spill.

Getting your feet solidly connected to the pedals is by far the best thing you can do to make you stronger, faster and more efficient. Toe clips are ok, but clipless pedals/shoes today are very cheap and very good. You can get both for under $100, total.
