Isn't that what happened with Pitboss' post? How was that constructive?

Now that you have our attention, how about letting us know exactly what has Pittboss so frustrated that he thought his post was a good solution?

Also, have you ever considered taking special cause action on the special cause problem (the individual) vs. taking a common cause action against all of us?

How are the majority of post on here constructive, even if they are most of the constructive topics have been covered, and i dont mind talking about the same **** over and over, but most of the time i am beat to the punch by somebody posting "use the search ****ion". How is that constructive.

I dont think there was a point i think he was just trying to stir **** up. It was pretty obvious to me by reading his post and watching video in the post that he linked that there was no seriousness behind it.

the original thread said that they were shutting down FGSS because none of the info was needed anymore as it was "covered" in the goofy video that he linked to, (16 is the best ratio by the way...and dont grease you BB spindles).

In all fairness, we get a lot of the same questions asked week after week. And not even by new members. Half of the question threads could be answered by searching. I don't see the problem with reminding people of the search function, as long as you're not a jerk about it.

I think Pitboss is just just upset that SSFG has practically become a place to trade macros and photoshoppings rather than to discuss bikes.

Brian, this forum changes over the years, my feelings, this is just one of those rough spots it's going through. Honestly, banning for short periods seems to work well. It's toned it down in the past, it might work now. I've been posting here, almost soley, since 2003 and seen a lot of people come and go. It'll settle out.

You can always over poison the liver with alcohol though. Lots of it. Do you need an address?

I didn't mean to say that every post should be constructive - how boring would that be?

I was saying that if Pittboss has a problem with the conduct of some individuals or the SSFG forum in general, he should address it in a professional, direct manner. Not by pulling some lame ass prank that is EXACTLY the type of behavior that he is apparently upset with. THAT is definitely not constructive.

I keep some Squatter's Full Suspension on hand. It's next to the Rolling Rock. I also have some Bundy OP from Australia, and good tequila from Mexico, not that export crap. The missus is an Aussie, and we live in Utah county (no Sunday sales) so we keep a pretty good supply on hand. But if you want to send more, I will see that it gets put to good use.

Before you get your rope out and start looking for a tree, I do hope that you let him post whatever he has to say in his defense. He's a good guy, and a valuable member of the moderator's team, so I do expect that he will be able to fix this.

I think of FG/SS as the FYAD of the Bikeforums (FYAD FYAD LOL). It keeps all the truly dangerous ones in one place, where you can keep an eye on 'em.

I thought the 'closure' post was funny, and I fell for it. How about posting a thread with all the responses? That would be hilarious.
