Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Kmc X10.93 10-speed Chain

I just ordered the KMC X10.93 10-Speed chain from Probikekit, and I did not remember reading if the missing-links are re-usable a la Sram 9-Speed chains. Could those of you who are using, or used these chains please comment on reliability and re-usability of the missing links?

Also, are these good 10-Speed chains?

Thanks for all responses.

Regards,

Looks like there is quite a bit of info using the search feature. I have never tried this chain but have thought about it.

I am using the SL version of that chain and it works great. The missing link is nice as well and very easy to use.

KMC chains are by far my favorite 10spd chain out there. FWIW - KMC also manufacturers "Shimano's" chains to Shimano's specifications.

KMC DX10 chains can be bought from Performance under their "Forte" house brand name. Usually on sale for around $21 it is a steal.
