So, how bad will this build get derisive looks?

Good solid build. Personally, I'd setup the bars so that you can use the drops a bit more effectively.... but to each his own.

Depends. Do you have the legs to make it go fast? Or are you commited to getting the legs to make it go fast?
If so, none. If not, perhaps a few.
FWIW, I wouldn't laugh at it. It looks nice, solid, and fast. Not exotic like an Orbea or Colnago or Calfee, but solid.

Saw this bike in the 'What road bike do you have' thread, and mistook it at first for a Look.
It has clean lines and is sharp. Only snobby pricks would ever think bad of it. Nice ride.

Thanks for the input and kind words. Yeah it nice and clean, hasn't been ridden yet as I just finished it last night. Needs a few 'dial-in' rides, then it's time to get dirty!
It will go fast, but for how long is what I'm working on. After 'bout 30+ miles, the A-Group begins to fade in the distance. lol Only been riding for 13 months, but it's my new drug of choice. Endurance is the best punishment for the Mind/Body
Couldn't pass up the price on the XRL frameset during their inventory clearance sale, even snagged free shipping on Christmas day. The Lapierre frameset it replaces just didn't work out, to twitchy, never felt right. It was a Sloping TT Compact, traditional/slightly-sloping feel more at home to me.
BTW, the picture doesn't do the Pearl/Metallic White justice.

I personally like it even though it is nearly the polar opposite of my old XRL build. Of course yours is spec'd way better than mine was. It is a good solid ride.

If you're going to wh0re yourself out to Performance, you should have gotten the Forte branded wheels instead of the real deal. Either way, that's a nice looking bike and nobody will laugh if you have the legs to back it up. Where I come from, you're more likely to get hounded for riding a nice bike slowly than a "cheap" bike at all.

Not true...even if you were joking.
Italian present participle of the verb scattare, meaning: to jump, increase, start, go off, begin, release...etc.
So it literally means jumping, increasing, starting, going off, beginning, releasing, etc...

Thanks for the kind words ladies and gents.
Can I at least get some points for 'white garage door', 'big ring-little ring', 'white bar tape/saddle'? ah ha ha ha

Will this get you derisive looks?
I dunno, does your ass look good in white bibs?
If you're a bear on a bike, that may look out of place, but otherwise, who cares. If you're really slow, the fast roadies won't even waste a thought on you anyway, and if you're really fast, they'll be killing themselves to make sure you don't beat their shiny Pinarello to the finish line. Win/win!

I like it....
Four of the friends I ride regularly with ride Scattante. I have yet to witness anything negative about these bikes. They are solid, seem to be well built, and in my opinion look really sharp. I personally own a Trek (bought used) but I love seeing these on the road. To me it says something positive about the person riding it...that they're smart enough to ignore all the aggressive naysayers on BF and decide on the best bang for their buck.
Oh, and I'll have to say that this is the nicest looking Scattante build I've seen thus far as well.
(edit) I agree that the bars look wrong. I'd turn them to put the bottom of the drops parallel to the ground; Much more comfy on the drops that way. This will also take any additional fodder away from the above mentioned naysayers.
