Finally got Brooks broke in!
After about two months (and after alot of whining, Proofide and soreness) I am finally happy with my Brooks Professional saddle.
Last week I did 30 on Wed., 40 on Thur. and 65 on Sat. All miles done on my fixed with the Brooks. I got off the bike after the 65 and my butt was happy. It was even happier than it had been with my 10 year old Turbo saddle.
I had been riding it once a week about twenty miles a ride (it took a few days to recover from the soreness) and ride my other road bike the rest of the week. I did that for about two months. I almost gave up on it because my milage was going down. But it eventually started to slowly feel better.
Now that it is broken in the thing I notice most is the great "close" road feel it has. You can really feel the road and not be bothered by it. I like that feel!
I have also heard that it takes a year for them to really break in and get comfy, so I guess the hard part is out of the way.

I have a very well developed Brooks Butt, having been the only saddle I've ridden on for the last 25 years. They only get better and better with age and proper care. Soon you will say to yourself, I'll never buy another kind of saddle.
I have 3 swifts. One on the racer, one on the tourer, and one on the fixer.
