Best Floor Pump EVER
https://www.cannondale.com/a_a/gear/0...el-8FP02.html#
Cannondale Airport Plus floor pump. $40 at my LBS. Light, smooth action, easy to reach 120psi, great air chuck (rock solid seal), EASY to read pressure guage, WON'T TIP OVER either.
Best pump I've ever had. And not too pricey.

I disagree, there's no such thing as a "best floor pump." It either gets the job done or doesn't get the job done.
Yea.... my pump does the same damn thing, so does pretty much any other non-shiettay pump on the market.

Profoundly incorrect. Crappy pumps (many are) tip over easily, don't make a solid connection with the presta valve all the time, have guages that are hard to read, etc. ad nauseum. I know, I've had those pumps for twenty years. They all blow up the tires of course. But all pumps are not created equal.

I disagree.
Best floor pump = Supergo (RIP) FP2. Just like your pump, easy to reach 120psi (heck, it's easy to reach 180psi). Easy to read gauge, easy to adjust marker point on gauge, blah blah blah. Best feature? the head doesn't leak and is universal: compatible with both presta and shraeder valves, no leaks. Thick ass hose. blah blah blah...
You paid $40? HA. This was $25 regular price.
Oh yeah - For the win? It's red.

The pump I have doesn't have any of those problems you listed, is it the "best pump evar"?
As for the presta value problem, yes I've seen some god awful connectors, another problem, some people have trouble figuring out how to insert them correct. Those are the same type of people who don't know how to use a bloody screwdriver.

If you've got an easy to use floor pump, you'll use it more - the tires will be kept at the right pressure; right pressure means less flats. You'd be surprised at how many people think that tire inflation is more like maintenance.

Went to the LBS last week and was asked to pump up some tyres. Then Can I fit a set of tubs- with 200 psi. Started pumping and got to 140 psi and that was far easier than with my pump- at that pressure I am standing on my pump and sweating a bit. Got to 180 before I really had to work and at 200 psi- I was standing on the pump. Proved to me that my floor pump that I have had for 10 years is no good. Ordered one and picked it up this morning. It works
