Bike shows or outdoor shows for equipment?
I've used the search function and haven't come up with a related thread, so here's my question:
I would like to get a closer look at various saddlebag and pannier options- especially since the quality ones seem to cost a fortune. Since there are few shops that deal with touring, does anyone know of a bike show that features more touring gear, or would it be better to go to an outdoor show instead?
I've posted this in the Great Lakes Forum since Chicago/Midwest is what I'd prefer to know about.
Thanks,
Erick

I know there's some sort of Bike Expo in Wisconsin, I have friends who have gone quite a few times and have picke dup all sorts of used and new gear for cheap. I don't know when or where it is but hopefullys some one here does because I would like to go this year.
A couple years ago a guy I know picked up a new Brooks B-17 for $35 or something rediculous like that.
