Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Make me feel good about my purchase

I just bought a Giant TCR Alliance 0 for $1500. I'm not going to lie to you, she is one sexy beast. I wanted to consult BF to see how I did price-wise. Any thoughts?

One of my favorite frames out right now. Very overlooked and underrated. It's the same concept as the Cannondale Six13 - half carbon/half aluminum. One of the best riding frames Giant has out right now IMO.

I like the paint jobs on the new giants better than mine. I rode an alliance frame last year for about a week; it was ok but I thought my composite rode a little nicer.

by buying a bike from the big 4 your resale value will be much greater if you decide to sale it.
giant is #1 for reason. they're the toyota of bicycles.

What kind of bars are those? I've been wanting to get a bar/shifter profile similar to that for awhile in order to relieve pressure on my palms when riding on the hoods.

what I liked about it was the stiffness. I've actually been missing my aluminum frames lately. My Moto Le Champ SL and Scott Speedster were the shiznit in a sprint.
