Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I assume someone will inform me that schwag is something you cannot buy. To my bike, this is schwag. My bike did not purchase this schwag, I did.

I know there was a recent post on Sunglasses. For those looking for shades. Check these out(pics below) 30 bucks and 5 different lenses.

Did not include pics of the knee warmers, not very interesting.

Has the tour inspired you to buy anything in pursuit of speed, or just because it makes you feel happy?

Time to go test this stuff out.

Those look great! I'm in the market for a new pair of riding shades. Are the lenses hard to change out? Also, do you think they will fit for people that has a wide head?

They are really flexible. PBK has 3 different types. And yes the lenses are really easy to change.
They feel really well build, not plasticky or cheap. When my buddy comes over for a ride i will get him to try them on. He has a wider head then me. I will let you know what he thinks.

Everyone knows that coordinating is essential to get the optimum effect from your schwag. Tires should match your helmet, bottle cages should match your gloves, etc. I think these match your sunglasses pretty well:

30 dollar sunglasses are usually lacking optical quality. Multiple lens's don't help. distortion, wavyness, etc. are usually inherent in these. Bad for your eyes.
Typically you must pay at least 100 bucks for quality sunglasses.
Bolle, Oakly, Giro, higher end optic nerve and tifosi are good.

$10 sunglasses from the Toronto bike shows have served me very well thank you. They stop the bugs getting in my eyes, and I don't care when I lose them or sit on them by mistake.

Huge upgrade from my bonty, that came with the bike. Went on a 30 mile ride yesterday and had no problems. I really like it. I researched saddles thoroughly until i came across a thread on BF. The guy was the same build as i, and raved over the saddle. So i thought i would give it a go. It is narrow, at 136cm wide, i wouldn't recommend it for bigger guys with wider sit bones.

here is a good review

I bought them for the clear and blue lenses. Plus PBK's regular price is around 55 or 60 bucks. and all there stuff is super cheap. They really aren't to bad.
