Wobble, Wobble, Wobble
I have a question related to decending speed and handling.
I have finally been able to get out with my new Lemond Buenos Aris on real roads! While I was out this weekend I got do do some nice hills and some really good decents. I noticed that the bike seemed really sketchy and wobbly compared to my other bike. I had just put new Bontreger RaceX Lite slick tires on it (700x23) in preparation for the good weather.
I am wondering if it is the tires I need to get used to since I haven't used slicks before or if it is how the bike is set up or if it is just that I need to get accustomed to how it handles.
It is really responsive compared to my other bike (Specialized Sirrus Comp).
Could this be a head set issue??

Head issue
Could be a head issue, not a headset issue. Whenever I find the bike unstable on fast decents, it's because i have tensed up. Relax your upper body and it should go away.

Why then don't I experience it with the other bike?? Are you suggesting that I am just more used to the way the other bike handles and therefor I am more relaxed? I suppose that could be part of it.

Could be a headset. Is it a large frame steel bike? My large frame steel bike scared the crap out of me once when I hit 52mph it started hi speed shimmy. Clamping the top tube with your knees will stop it or possibly standing on the pedals. After some research I found that large steel frames can be the culprit b/c they are flexy and can resonate violently.
