Differences between your rigs
I have 4 bikes
1 singlespeed Fuji
1 CX bike Ridley Crossbow
1 roadbike Tarmac pro
1 TT bike Kestrel Talon
I measured the distance from the cockpit to the saddle today. The CX bike and the singlespeed are the same, the Tarmac is an inch longer. I wear more clothes when I'm riding the CX and SS, because I ride them in the winter mainly. All the bikes feel comfortable.
Are there any differences in length between your winter bikes and your Race bike?

Unless the rear blinkie and front headlight somehow affect the geometry.

I tried to setup the commuter/cross bike exactly the same as the road bike. But the brake cable hanger on the cross bike makes me keep the bars a touch higher. Other than that, they are identical.

Sorry, I didn't mean to hijack. Back when I was single and living with my parents, my stable was much better. This should get the ball rolling.
GT Edge Road bike w/ Ultegra/Dura Ace
Cannondale Track bike w/ Superbe Pro
Balance steel hardtail mountainbike with XT/XTR
Alpinestars dual suspension downhill bike with LX/XT (single chainring)
Obviously, each bike had a purpose that could not be fullfilled by any of the others.

Do you ride all of these at all times of the year, My bikes are pretty seasonal, I tend to get more laid back in the winter.

About 1% is the usual. Despite it being so little, it really does drastically change the metal (at least from a scientific standpoint, I know there will be some grouches saying that there is no difference between aluminum and scandium-aluminum)

In the winter I keep the road bike on the trainer, and IF (that's a big IF) I do get outside it's on the cross bike. I have studded tires and they obviously only fit on that bike. I don't get outdoors as much as I ride the trainer though. If I could get them exact, I would.

My winter commuter is my Giant, which I ride in street clothes. As far as riding position it's set up the same as my road bike (which probably does this to MTBr's: ) - just a slightly cushier seat, no drops, and a higher bottom bracket, but otherwise the same position.

I have two bikes, as per my sig. The 1000 rides super stiff; if it weren't for the carbon fork, it would be the ultimate in rough riding. It's also pretty heavy. However, it rides really well and is a pretty enjoyable ride for commuting.
However, the Giant is extremely comfortable and is great for training rides and such. I'll be racing on it for the first time this weekend.

If I had the means, I would have a bike for each day of the week, but my budget wont allow it.

It's great having several nice bikes. One great aspect is that it does keep the mileage down on any one bike when you average 1,000 miles monthly. I also have a TT bike that I train on and an MTB that I ride on really wintry roads and in the woods in the warmer weather.

05 Fuji Team SL
08 Fuji SL1
08 FUji Aloha TT
07 Fuji Cross
The Team SL and the SL1 are identical setups. The cross is about an inch shorter from saddle to bars and the TT bike is a little more than that. No particular reason other than that what setups I came up with when I was sizing to comfort.

I only have two bikes any more: a Lemond Poprad (stock except for a lower rise stem and compact crankset) which doubles as my road/commute bike and my off-road/trail bike, and a Mercier Kilo TT that is my "around town" bike.
