Besides the doping, I lost even more respect for Vino after that press conference. He doesn't deserve to ride under Bruyneel's management / talent.

Sounds like AC's got a backup plan, but another year on his contract. We know LA's got a backup plan. While I don't know what they're committed to, and it's wishful thinking, I hope Levi, Horner, Popi, and Kloden can bail or find a way out as well.

Just my $.02, fwiw.

p.s. today's word is "irony", which is a stone's throw from "hypocrisy" in the dictionary

Back on topic..you can basically count Astana out of any ASO events..that leaves out some big races..then of course there is question of whether or not the UCI will issue Astana a new license next season. I don't see this ending well for Astana. I also foresee some lawsuits involving Contador trying to get out of his contract for next year.

How does the license thing work? Who is the Astana license issued to? Can JB take it with him wherever he goes? Can I possibly fit another question into this post?

They give the licenses to team/sponsor pairs who agree to follow ethical rules and provide financial backing for ~4 years.
