During June, July and August to date, I've averaged 124 miles per week.
For the year-to-date, I've averaged 13.48 miles per day, (3141.41 miles / 233 days). This is one mile/day less than my goal, and 2.5 miles/day less than my challenge goal.
Crappy weather through most of the year has contributed, as has working five and six day work weeks. Then there was recovering from getting hit by that car, and lately I've been cleaning, sorting and packing to move when I'd rather be on the bike.
I'm hoping for a better September and October. November and December generally drop off dramatically.
For those with interest, my BikeJournal ride log.

Averaged 31 miles per week since May 20-something. My 50 miler on the 4th of July helped bring up that average. Aiming for 1000 this year (560 so far), my first year biking since I got a drivers license about 41 years ago. When retirement arrives, I'll be looking to ramp that up quite a bit.

hmm, 25 miles the first month. 175 miles the second month and I'm currently on tap to do 200+ this month. so far that works out to be around 50 per week by 5 or 6 days, I guess.

I thought when I retired I would be riding everyday but that hasn't happened Helping an aunt with her yard work and doing landscaping in my yard has taken up a lot of my time this summer.
I still manage a 30+ mile ride each Friday, the Metro Park biking program on Saturday and a couple of other club rides on Wednesday and Sundays. I've been averaging 100 miles each week and they vary from 10-50 miles.

Since I'm still a working man, I tend to go with shorter/greater frequency rides
I get to work from home mostly, so I take 3 or 4 12-15 mile rides per week for lunch
Usually I get a longer, 20-40 mile, ride on Saturday.
That said, I got out today after work and did a nice 19 miler following my 11 mile up hiller yesterday

150 to 225 miles a week. This week a bit more maybe 220. I have put a bit more than 5k miles so far this year So it must be a 200 mile average. Never would have believed it this time last year.

Don't mince words
I haven't tracked my weekly mileage for a long time. I was so happy to get out on my bike again that I didn't make weekly mileage a priority.
Most of my rides are 30+ miles, 4x/wk. Whatever that works out...I'm gauging intensity.

I'll ride 500 miles per month except in winter. I'll do 3 rides in the 90 to 130 mile range every month, and a dozen rides in the 35 to 45 mile range every month.
Days Ridden: 109 YTD
2009 Miles: 3,292 miles YTD
August Miles: 497 miles MTD
I like longer rides, adding 10 miles to a 25 mile ride takes about 35 minutes and provides almost 50% more exercise. However, I also maintain an every-other day fitness strategy. Alternating one day of 2-7 hours of exercise, followed by one day of rest & recovery, works for me.
I'm on track for 5000 miles this year without injury or setbacks.

We have been averaging 30 to 40 miles a day on saturdays and sundays, Only exception was we did 62.5 miles last saturday. Once it cools down we plane on 20 miles at leat 3 times a week and the 30 to 40 still on the weekend.

At 57 I'm kinda semi-retired and ride whenever I don't specifically need my car. I ride 15-20 miles 5 or 6 times a week.

I usually do 4 short rides of 30-35 miles and one longer ride between 35-75 depending on stage of training. I am almost always training for century rides.

125-150 weekly. Usually 80-110 on Saturday with lots of climbing, 25-30 on Sunday, little to no climbing, and 20+ on Wednesday after work. Wish I could retire!

Commuter here, between 100 and 140 miles per week, 10-miles one way on the commute, and the occassional endurance ride as I built up over the past 3 months.

I think this is the type of poll that is always going to get skewed results.
People who ride a lot want to post how much they ride. People who don't ride very much simply don't respond.

A very frequent response so far is "up to 30 miles" 3 to 4 times per week, with "up to 30 miles" 1-2 times per week right in there.
That means that a person could ride five miles per week and still find themselves safely in the "up-to-30" category.

I don't really have a typical week of riding. I mix up a lot of different things depending on my schedule, the weather, how I feel and what kind of rides my friends are doing. Also, I don't keep track of my mileage.
All that said, a theoretical average week might include two 20-30 mile rides, one 10 mile MTB ride and a 50-65 mile weekend ride. So, about 120 miles for the week.
