Their last sale I picked up a snowboarding jacket, a hoodie style zip up jacket and a shirt for $60... including shipping...

the snowboarding jacket costs $250 in the store...

thanks again for the hook up min!

For those of you wondering, sale was way better than normal. They moved it to a big warehouse so everyone basically got in w/o waiting in line for hours. They also opened up an hour early so I only waiting 10 minutes. selection was better than the few patio sales I've been to. It's worth going to. And no, they don't ask for the invite.

no jawbones, but radar selection was pretty good. keep in mind they dont really sell the most popular colors. so while they had about 6 different types of radars, they were not the best colors. they had a handful of black ones though.

I just went and it was a NIGHTMARE! I got there around 12pm and waited almost 1 hour just to get inside. By 1pm when I got in there was almost nothing I would buy in terms of style/color. When I gathered what I wanted I found out it was almost a 3 hour wait just to pay! Needless to say, I left because I had to go back to work.

I was told by the workers there that they have a separate stock for each day and that you will get "better" stuff if you go right when they open. They also opened their doors at 8am instead of 10am like their flier.

was it 8am? someone said they opened at 9:00. i got there a bit after 10:00, and that was the beginning of the outside line. i was there only for sunglasses, and was somewhat surprised to find that oakley even made clothing, luggage, belts, and other wacky stuff. i got in the checkout line (which went all the way to the back corner and looped around to the ski goggles when i got there) at around 11:00 and got out at 12:40. i could watch the line grow from there and i imagine it was no fun to arrive when you did. oh and leave your oakleys in the car, because they won't let you wear them inside.

if you go, go early. go with a friend, and shop tagteam style. establish your presence in the checkout line and go shop one at a time while the other holds your places. yeah, it's cheap. and yeah, the lines and waiting make the deals almost not worth it.

Not just Oakleys but Arnettes, Ray Bans and any other sunglasses brand owned by them. They will send you back to your cars to put them away.

I would honestly say it is absolutely not worth going if you feel like it would be smart to go after work around 5pm. I would put my money on you being there until past 10pm! On top of that, nothing good will be left!

they opened at 9, not 8. I'm sure the line started forming at 8 if not earlier. The check out line was only about 25 deep when I got in line and it still took longer than normal. So I guess the good news is that the wait to get in is much better, but the check out lines are way worse.

When I finished shopping (got blue/white Flaks and Radar, Black M Frame) at about 1100am, the check out line was too long! I didnt leave the place around 1pm.

I got there at about 4:30. The clothing selection was worse than mediocre and the better sunglasses were picked over. The checkout line was at least 45 minutes long, and one of the staff told me it looked short to her.

My wife went this morning, arriving by 9:00 a.m.; they opened at 9:15, with about 100-200 people waiting in line. She grabbed a pair of Radar Path ($60) and a pair of M-Frame ($60). In the checkout line by 9:45, and out the door by 9:50.

According to the employee(s) she spoke with, no cycling clothes were available. She said there were some Ray-Ban glasses for $35/pair, as well.

By 10:00 the checkout line was getting long.

Thanks for the heads-up regarding the sale.

That's what I got. I just tried them out on a ride... I like them much better than my vintage Wayfarers so far.

I picked one up as well for just the lens... I love the path red iridium lens... I will replace with my black frame radar and sell the red frame with gold vented path lens (anyone interested?)

Since i have 3 radars, extra lenses are a good thing

Yea there was flak jacket XLJ for $50.....I went on Wed and got there around 10am and didn't get out until 1:30ish...because the check out line just grew about 10:30 and I got stuck on the other side to just pick a snowboarding jacket and they wouldn't let anyone cross.... But I pick pair of Radar, Flak Jacket XLJ, half jacket, and few shirts and new snowboarding gears..... also when over to HQ to order my Jawbone!

I talked to my friend who works at Oakley and she said that they did not anticipate so many people on the first day so they were short cash registers. The next day they had more so I guess the lines weren't such a big issue.
