Who plans on showing up and torturing themselves this year (Sat, Feb 6)? I'll most certainly be there (as I'm the one in charge).

E-mail me w/ questions @ boulevard2010@gmail.com

I can put you on the waitlist. You'd be around #10. With 100 spots...

So here's my philosophy Eric- if the pre-ride has nice weather, race will not be. Case: last year

However, this year, our pre-ride was scheduled to be this weekend. Cancelled b/c of snow. Let's pray...

OP, this is kind of a personal question but:

Is your name telling of your heritage/ethnicity?

Yes. Indo-Fijian. A rarity in the cycling world.

I hope you're right. I can't stand the thought of doing that racing in the snow again.

Man, another race that I wanted to do that I can't because of knee issues. Blvd is so my style of course too. I have a pretty good feeling my best friend can win the IIIs or at least podium. We will see! Might go down with him just to hang out.

Good luck to who ever is doing it.

Do you also run Red Trolley? I'm considering that, even though (or because it is) much less of an epic than Boulevard.

I'm in. I think my 2 years as a FT messenger in Boston should give some little edge with my inclimate weather riding experience In all honesty though I just need toe race count. I think I'll be a 4 by March.

Man, talk from a lot of my friends they are going to blow it off now even though they are registered. They don't want to take a chance of crashing in the rain with 3 big stage races coming up in the next 25 days. Looks like it will rain for sure.

Tell them to HTFU and just go off the front from the gun..no one to crash into. Besides half the lap you are going up hill!

yeah it's really hard to get away on that down hill section...it's not nearly technical enough to scare hardly anyone. maybe in the Cat 5's though?
