Rescued a schwinn traveler Road bike. I have questions

I got a traveler 3 japanese schwinn road bike. The # on the frame is: L721911. Can anyone give me a hand on a year and any other info on it ?

Is there a number stamped on the headbadge? The format is xxxy where xxx is the day of the year (001 through 365) that it was built, and y is the last digit of the year it was built. You have to look at the components and decals and stuff to figure out the decade.

Bikes: Waterford 953 RS-22, several Paramounts

"L7" = November 1977, and that makes it a 1978 model year Traveler III. It was made in Japan by National/Panasonic.
