Helmet Cam: 2010 Bethel CDP Gold Race, Cat 3-4s
Using a mac for the first time to edit the clip, so slightly different look. Also, for mac users, you'll notice some "lemme check out some bells and whistles" stuff going on. Which, when I think of it, is fun for me.
Some in field moving, team roll call, a little move, and then the last 2 laps.
No recording in the P123s, the nut that holds the saddle down messed things up (me, in other words).
Enjoy.

CDR - That was AWESOME!! Congrats.
I didn't believe it was you at first - hitting the front and going with an early break - that is a new trick.
Video quality looks great too. Nice edit.

Nice ! I have yet to get the right combination of timing, gearing & position for that sprint.

Nice.
Btw, what mount are you using for the cam? I didn't think about mounts and ended up using the goggle mount strapped to the top of my helmet but it doesn't seem very secure.

I use the goggle strap mount with the clip that's supposed to release it. I had to google what I used because I didn't set it up, slowroadie/youtube (and tyrade in bf) set it up for me before the race. He put a wide velcro strap through there (looks like a pump strap or a truck rack strap).
He uses the vented helmet mount (i.e. bike helmet). They were out of stock and his workaround seems fine. I now leave the cam on the helmet and bring the whole thing inside (for downloading, plugging in, etc). I need to wedge something in there, it still wiggles a bit. Seems okay though - the manhole cover I hit in the first turn jars the bike pretty well and the cam doesn't move much.

Fun to watch but those pop up comments got a bit annoying. And congratulations on the win.

You can learn a lot from the stream of consciousness of a winner.
