Tour of Cali contenders
Does anyone know of anyone targeting the overall at the Tour of Cali except for Levi? It seems to me that he is the only one (and maybe Dave Zabriskie) who have targetted the overall. The rest seem out for stage wins and to prep for July.
Thoughts?

Zabriskie should be in it to win it, the same for Rodgers and possibly Horner, if Levi falters (Not likely). Would have said Nibali, but he got called back to Italy.

Team Saxo Bank should have someone in the mix - Andy looks most likely, but who knows. Heinrich Haussler for Cervelo possibly, Tony Martin if Rogers isn't their guy, Van de Walle, Hincapie (if he has anything left at this point).

I think Hincapie is downplaying his desire to win the overall by saying he's out for stage wins. He had a great spring and has had time to recoup and being in the Stars and Stripes I wouldn't be surprised if he tries to dethrone Levi.

Levi is obviously the favorite but I'm going to go out on a limb here and say Cancellara or Andy Schleck. Fabian has proved he's at his top of his game this year and he's been getting better at climbing. Andy, because he's good and has a strong team around him. Saxobank in my opinion has the strongest team this year and they're a lot of fun to watch.

Lance will win, of course. Lance wins everything. But it's not about the bike, is it? Then again, every second counts. (This guy come out with any more books? I've not been following his career lately.)

So winning the TOC would be Comeback 2.0?

Three-point-oh, I think. '99 was comeback 1.0, '09 Tour was 2.0, this would be 3.0. But only because he's sucked so hard this season. Frankly I've written him off, at least for Tour GC contention. The Tour de France, that is. But I don't think he'll be winning California either.
