I did a paltry 717 miles in May. Which happens to be my highest monthly total ever.

My extremely newbish arse was in the saddle over 1197 km (744 miles) this month. Including no commuting, shopping or transportation of any sort, but including one feeble race.

261 miles and 13:53 in the saddle thanks to a horrible work schedule this month and a lot of crap weather. Had 452 miles in April and that was riding as many days as I was home pretty much. Guess I need to up my mileage per ride and just work with what I have available. I envy you people with your 9-5 jobs. You probably don't realize how lucky you really are. I think it's time for me to move to Denver and stop commuting from KC to Denver a couple times per week for work...oh well, mountains here I come.

510 miles was all this working single dad of two boys could squeeze in, what with all the cooking, cleaning, spending time with kids, going to church, and some occasional sleep. But I'm not complaining. Yeah, I'd like to do more, but there are other things more important than cycling. Wait -- did I just say that on BF? Yeah, of course it really is true.
The annual total is right at 2,048 ... a little behind where I wanted to be. Trying to make my 6,000 mile goal for this year. Summer is my slow time for work, so hopefully I'll get many miles in during the hot and humid days ahead.

Though I did see quite an improvement in my average speed (+ 1.6MPH), not that it means anything at all in the slightest, this month over all of the previous months that I have been keeping logs for. I have about 2 weeks vacation in June and should be able to find plenty of other time for riding with the kid spending summer visiting his mother, so I'm shooting for 850 miles in June.

738.72 miles. But I made HUGE improvements this month, my top average speed in groups went from 17ish to 20ish, and my solo speed went from 16ish to 18ish. Climbs are easier, heart rate is steadier, pulls are longer.
Guess what! Practice really DOES make you better! I'm sure I'll hit a lovely plateau in June, but for now, I'm basking in the sun...

1200ish miles in 22 days. Am happy to finally have a Garmin GPS for logging the miles in more detail. Rode a couple days with 2 rides per day

My first full month of cycling, I did 291 miles in 13 rides. Longest one to date was 43 miles this past weekend. Want to reach 55 by the end of June, and also do a better job of fueling up before a ride and recovering afterwards.
