Did You Miss Anything About the Tour This Yr?

I missed the team time trial. When I was young, I thought the time trials were boring but now that I am older, they tend to be my favorite part of the grand tours save for a few of the mountain stages.

What did you really miss about the tour this year?

Given the outcome of the race. I think an uphill TT would have been great for the race. Find out who is really a better climber and how much time one could put into the other. Just would have been interesting.

Yeah, TTT would have been nice but it was still exciting.

I miss watching an egotistical megalomaniac and his maniacal "boss" attempting to usurp the title of team leader from the rightful owner......

A TTT might have shaken up things. I think that Saxo-Bank might have been better team for a TTT over Astana, but also wonder if teams composition might have been different too. Being a Garmin fan, I like to think that Ryder might have done even better with a TTT.

I missed a good sprinter showdown. The green jersey race was tight but that's a different animal. With Farrar getting hurt and then Cav going from quitting early to winning everything... I guess there were a lot of storylines but a real rivalry never materialized. I'd love to see Cav go against Greipel and an on form Farrar, just to see if either of those 2 can make a dent.

I missed Frank, not nearly as much as Andy did. But yeah, I missed Frank the most.

Yeah, I think it might have made the mountains more interesting. It was interesting to hear Andy say that it hurt him to miss Frank.

I wanted to see what Christian Vandevelve could have done.

I'm not suggesting the outcome would have been different, but the psychological impact of AC battling FS and AS (2 vs1) in tandem would have made the mountain stages far more interesting.
