47x19 gearing
i have 47x19 gearing and i want to keep my same front gearing but want easier skidding what is a good ratio

OP it's very simple. The easier it is to pedal, the easier it will be to stop pedaling and skid. If you can't do it at 47x19 though, its not the bike, it's you. HTFU.

That's what I'm saying. If you can't skid on that gear, you either need to ride some hills and get stronger legs, or look at your foot retention because something isn't right.

You can't skid 65gi??? Angie - who is 5'3" and weighs 110 lbs - can skid 74gi without any trouble.

That would be harder. The closer the two numbers are to each other, the easier the gearing is.
Really though, you shouldn't change it to make it easier. Just stop being weak.

Just practice some more, your current gearing should be plenty easy to skid on. 47x16 would be harder.
