just name away and give a brief (or detailed) description.
this is not meant for debate, just expression and sharing...but most likely this will have arguments.
meh.
1. Campagnolo shifters: dont fit my hands well
2. Specialized: i despise their (predatory) suing and find their bikes heinous/ugly/blerf
3. a road or cross bike with a *sloping top tube (few exceptions: very very light slopes)
4. Livestrong bracelets. not related to lance at all, i just find them dooshy by association.
5. fizik microtex. too thin.

The OP forgot to list Soul Wheels as one of the products he will never buy because it claims to be "aero" and yet, not been tested in a wind tunnel...and that Soul Wheel owners are suckers ![Innocent](images/smilies/innocent.gif)

Giant bikes - Nice, but the junk they made under that name years ago is stuck in my mind.

Shimano levers - too much throw (also a thread on this)
SRAM 10 speed chains - PowerLock is just that - a lock, not easy to remove. Breaking a chain to clean it is nowhere as easy as 9 speed.
Any expensive handlebar - what is the point in paying through your nose for something that is plentiful in lower price ranges with the same geometry?
Continental tires - I have never ridden the hallowed GP4K, but the UltraSport and Contact tires tear much easier than other makers' tires in the same class.
Performance/Nashbar brand cassettes - need a dentist for the cassette soon after buying.
Mr. Tuffy liners - Slime liners work so much better.
unter, if the OP is in the industry, how does that affect your answer? Seems like a new twist on the regular fare in here, where people slobber over electronic shifting and uber-expensive tires. The answers are nothing an exhaustive search of the 41 wouldn't produce :-)
I do not, however, understand the hashtag thing, do not Twitter or use Facebook.

shedding fat
This is just a few to start. Too many reasons, but some are very personal and have nothing to do with their performance:
-Trek
-Chitmano
-Specialized, except their shoes.
-Mavic
-Cannondale
-Any titanium bike
-Pinnarelo
-Oakley, although I do have a pair.
-Castelli jerseys, although I do have a couple that I have not used in 3-4 years.
-D2 shoes. Bought a custom set. Use your imagination and the search function
-Hard shell bike traveling cases
-SRAM
-I won't buy anything from a certain LBS either.
-Speedplay pedals
-Bontrager
-Anything branded by Nashbar or Performance. They are simply the low end Walmart equivalent.
-Anything Armstrong related. I simply cannot stand the guy and who he really is vs what he sells himself as.
-Camelbacks
-Continental tubular tires. They are the equivalent of a black and round 2x4
More later.

I really dislike Specialized for buying the Globe mark, then discontinuing the Live3. Also for discontinuing the '09-style Avatar saddle, and replacing it with a Toupe-duplicate. I've been buying all the old-style Avatars up on Ebay, but I still don't have enough to last me the rest of my life.
I'm frustrated with Specialized, but they did the contact points right. For me, the best insoles, bar-tape, and saddles (and I came off a Brooks, after 8+ years.)
Bontrager--seems like everything of theirs I've ever tried or seen in person has been junk. And by association, Trek.
Also, I don't hate Lance or those afflicted with cancer, but I just don't feel like jumping on the yellow bracelet bandwagon. Perhaps because some people get sanctimonious about it. My little sister beat cancer, but my not wearing one had nothing to do with it.

Specialized, I just think they are a-holes (nowadays at least), although there helmets, gloves, and shoes really are fantastic...
Trek, just never really been a fan
Aero wheels... I'm tiny, and I like tubeless, so until the two mix, I'm out

Serfas bad cycle computer would not make correct, nothing they make.
Trek, Specialized bikes. Cannot see how they are worth the extra money compared to other bikes. Are the frames that much better? Me thinks it is marketing and control.
Bonranger Wheels and much of bonranger line.
Oakley but someone can give me a pair and I would wear them.

This tells me they are too expensive for what they are.

- Performance/Nashbar: Never satisfied with the quality, and more importantly, fit of anything of this brand (more specifically, gloves); price wasn't that cheap.
- Fizik: For some reason, I don't like their stuff, except for their bar tape.
- Campagnolo clothing: Just doesn't fit my body
- Computers without Ant+: No point.
- Gatorskins: Very durable but probably the worst riding tires of all time, especially cornering/handling in the rain.
- SRAM and Shimano chains: Just never liked them compared to KMC or Wipperman.
- Carbon handlebars: I once bought some Ritchey WCS carbon bars; they are nice but what's the point? I'll take my 3T alloy bars all day every day over the carbon bars.
- Anything that's hyped up (light, stiff, electronics, etc.) without thinking about how it will actually be useful in reality first.

Specialized frames- Too common
Scott frames- Don't know exactly why.
Cervelo frames- Ugly as sin, and too common.
Trek frames- I remember when Trek was a brand new company. The brand was considered "well built, but slow" (this was in the era of the Italian greats, Gios, Guerciotti, Pinarello, Bottechia, Colnago, etc. etc.) so my mental picture of a Trek will forever be a touring frame, adorned with Suntour, and painted brown.
Twist- What will I buy without any research, and justify no matter what? Campagnolo and Sidi products.

Primal Wear. Don't do it, just don't.
Any pro replica kit.
Campagnolo componentry. I'm sure it's terrific, but it's expensive, hard to find locally, uses weird standards and would require a new set of tools for me.
Any super-pricey helmet
...that's about it

I won't buy/wear any cycling clothing that has an Italian flag on it. It just makes me feel too much like a poser.
Nashbar/Performance clothing. I use a Nashbar saddlebag though, and I use it because it's the best one I've run across. I also have Nashbar cable cutters, and they are fine.
I won't buy electrical tape that's not either Scotch or 3M and doesn't come in a nice plastic container.
