A 1920's French velo de course!

This one seems to be a mixture of parts but i love it.
The wheels are four speed and non original but the tyres are original red Bergougnans!
It came with a velo de ville leather seat and so i have changed it for a very early Brooks B17.
This saddle was very brittle and looked rougher than an Aligators skin.
A quick 5 minutes with sand paper and then a soaking in polish sorted that out.
A non original alloy stem came with the bike but i have replaced it with a stem from a 1970's mixte bike.
These stems are very close to period ones of that era that was available.
The crank is an Automoto example but i'm not sure if the bike is an automoto.

Thanks guys. The tyres aren't in great shape but they are ridable! Also they would be very expensive to replace if i could find other ones.

These dimensions are centre to centre , seat tube 54cm and top tube 59cm.
