Here is the address to the bike.

Im thinking of buying it. Does it sound to be a good price or no?

Nice rims, solid component mix, decent suspension. I would want the bike to be in excellent condition to pay that much. Try putting $1300 down and see what happens.

The original MSRP was $3,300, so the asking price is in line; only you can say whether it is worth paying the going 'book' value for it.

Since the starting bid level is $1,550, the eBay bid engine would just digitally laugh at him if he tried.

It's a good deal but if you buy it make sure you pay with your paypal account or with credit card in case if you find problems with it once the bike gets to you.

No money orders or western union.

The bike is far from a rip-off. It's a fair deal, even at full asking price - so long as it is as described. I would assume that this bike will sell.

The only thing I would be weary of is the shipping price - the seller has obviously never packed/shipped a bike before. I would ask him if he plans on taking it to his local bike shop for shipping.

The seller is looking for around $0.50 on the dollar, that's a low return on a 2 year old bike. Even if they got a discount when purchasing new, that's still fair.
I paid around $.45 on the dollar for a four year old Stumpy and was glad to get it.
