Brooks saddle soft at tip
I got a new brooks swift and after a ride the leather at the tip, first inch or so, is very soft. Like wallet soft. It didn't get wet and got proofided once. Was hard when new. My other swift is solid all over. But the leather also felt a wee bit thinner on the new one. The adjustment bolt also wasn't changed.
Is it anything to worry about? I don't want it rotting or softening around the brass rivets. Keeping an eye on other areas to see if they soften. Also can't return it since I threw the box and receipt away already.
