Purito? Yoo hoo
What's going on with this guy? He previously claimed that he could not miss this years tour as the route is perfect for him. The announcers make virtually no mention of him and not much more of Contador. I don't understand that given he is amongt the worlds best climbers. I don't understand why he is so far back at this point. Regardless, I sure hope he, Contador or somebody steps up to the plate or this is going to be a boring tour.

To see how well Contador and Rodriguez rode last year at the Vuelta and now how far back they are, I just don't get it unless super donkey is doping (and I'm not saying he is). I don't imagine that Contador came back from his suspension to lose at the Le Tour. Interesting how well Porte came back too after such a miserable day. The pundits may say that it is virtually impossible for anyone to catch Froome but I'm still holding out hope that perhaps one of these mountain goats can ride into better form, attack, and cause him to crack. Otherwise I'd just have to go back to watching Sopranos reruns because it's just boring.

Well he wound up making the podium after all. I never dreamed of picking Quintana but might hafta next year since I don't make money bets on cycling like I do boxing.....obviously with good reason.
