Groupset Database

Does anyone know if there are any web sites that maintain a Groupset Database? Something that lets you find out which models were released in which years, what features were new, etc?

I can't seem to find anything, and I think this would be neat to have.

Not really what you're seeking but some members of some forums do this on their own by catalog saving and documenting. On Classic Rendezvous there's frequent reference to some companies time lines and certain members to seek out for this info.

Some companies have tech documents on line with dates on them. Some offer product line catalogs with model info and features. Andy.

Shimano mountain bike stuff, 1983 to 2005: https://mombat.org/Shimano.htm

Otherwise Velobase is invaluable for figuring out "whuttheheckizzit" parts.
