Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

Looking for feedback on the Threshold ride quality. I see the frame is designed with what is called a pierce through seat tube and wonder if there is a more noticeable harshness to the ride? I snagged a picture from flickr for those that are curious what I am talking about.

So if you own one, can you possibly give a ride comparison to other aluminum cross bikes with a traditional designed seat cluster? I will most likely be looking at a 2014 A2 since it seems to be a good bang for the buck!
