Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Kilo WT on its way

Not sure if I fully understand what is new for 2014 but not sure it matters.

Not interested in changing out anything that does not work for the sake of it, or I would have gone another route.

I have some eggbeater which I can put on, the pedals seems to get the most derision.

One water bottle cage, a nice white one.

The tires etc will be fine until I wear them out and will then look at something else. Give me a chance to see what I will actually ride it on, I have a couple of Mountain Bikes and a Road Bike, but the Road Bike is not that practical on some of the dirt roads around here.

A cheap cyclo computer, now I am sure things have changed a lot since I bought my last one, must be one that links to a phone.

I found a cheap cyclo computer, well free. Runtastic. You can upgrade to Pro for $5.

Now just need to find a good fixing solution.

We need to get that bloke back that did the road test on the State Bicycle

Enjoy your new bike and yes, we want photos. The grumps will grump but that just gives us an opportunity to have a go back at them
Tip: Make sure she's fully set up before you post the photos - we WILL pick up on seat angles and stuff like that and no amount of telling us 'I'm going to fix that' will help.

I will have to do some fiddling as I have short legs/long body Not as flexible as I once was.

Good news is that the snow is melting, should be in the 60's in a few days.

Might treat myself to some new shoes.

I had meat loaf for lunch today because it was the special. I didn't eat all my corn though because it was like a brick of beef. They put gravy on everything too, it was gross.

Stalker!

You know, when I read spinach & basil pie, I immediately thought "Hell, I make a damn good one of those. I should post my recipe!" but didn't click the link.
