Road bars are ideal for a wide range of uses on both the road and track. They are built for comfort and utility, offering numerous hand positions and ergonomic designs. Track bars are suitable for a handful of applications on the track and make your fixie look hella dope on the street.

nothin' wrong with looking hella dope, however.

just know what you're doing and don't fool yourself. you're either a pimp and a boss or a total tool with this route in life; there is no middle ground.

Running shoes are lightweight and comfortable with a wide range of applications, but not durable in some situations. Combat boots look hella dope when worn with baggy jean shorts.

Now my next question is, I'm going to run a rest brake with a regular road brake lever, should I run a rest lever on the right side for balance? Also, this would keep my OCD from going into defcom 4 after 20-30 miles of riding with only a front brake lever.

Do you mean hoods? I plan on doing the same with some cane creak levers i bought from a certain reputable online distributor and running the unused cable under the tape for symmetry

A lot of people run two levers/hoods - not only for symmetry but also for the added hand position - with only one connected to the front brake.

Cane Creek SCR-5 levers are spring-loaded and don't need a cable to keep them from flopping around.

Threw my track bars away.

It was like my hands and the bars were in a bad porno cause we kept trying different positions but nothing worked.

yeah I made that mistake as well they looked really nice but there were only two hand positions, next to the stem and in the drops, everyplace else was just awkward and uncomfortable

I road my bike today with the track bars. Its definitely do able but not comfortable. Same as an above poster said, drops or near the stem. I'd prefer road bars but the track bars do look better. But practicality or looks is more important.

I am up in the air on what I want still.

Strangely enough, that's why they were both designed the way they are.
