Any experience with Compass Chinook Pass tires?

I have well over 10K on my Marathon Plus tires without nary a flat…they are bullet proof, but heavy. After yesterday's swap meet, I walked away with a little extra coin jingling around in my pocket and I'm thinking about trying out the new Compass tires. Before I send my hard earned scratch to Jan, has anyone out there any real world experience with the Compass Chinook Pass tires? How about the Grand Bois Cerf Green Labels?

I have a set, but it will be a bit before they go on my Hollands.

I've been told by a friend they feel like a larger volume Veloflex Master, which makes them very interesting to me.

I'm running Cerf Green Label tires on my Jack Taylor tandem. I was concerned that they would ride harshly, but they don't. I have now put Grand Bois tires on 3 of my bikes and love them all.

Jan indicated that The GB and the new Chinook Pass were very similar, so I went for the Chinook Pass. I mounted them up this evening after work and had enough time to get a few miles in before dark. Not enough time in the saddle yet to render an opinion.
