Argh. the brakes came in today..mounted the rear...

Argh. the brakes came in today..mounted the rear and lo and behold.. Shimano includes one link wire with the brakes, and when setup per the instructions.. the cable hanger is is too low on the frame....

The Emonda comes in three framesets, S, Sl, and SLR, the S frame is 1220 grams, so just around the weight of the CAAD10 frame. The S is definitely not a weight weenie bike.

You're right, wide profile brakes offer better modulation but less power. Narrow profile offers more stopping power, less modulation, and less clearance.
