Argh. the brakes came in today..mounted the rear...

Argh. the brakes came in today..mounted the rear and lo and behold.. Shimano includes one link wire with the brakes, and when setup per the instructions.. the cable hanger is is too low on the frame....

The Emonda comes in three framesets, S, Sl, and SLR, the S frame is 1220 grams, so just around the weight of the CAAD10 frame. The S is definitely not a weight weenie bike.

Haha, and Domane and Madone sound any better? It is appealing to my inner weightweenie though. The SLR6 coming in at 14.55lbs compares very well to the SL4 and the R3 (16.01lbs or so) from Cervelo.
