I'd be surprised if this made "fixed gear culture" blow up. It seems to me the most people buying them are people who already have bikes who just want a beater they won't have to worry about at all....

I don't get all the leader hate on bike forums. I've seen and ridden several and they're fine. I know of alot of people who ride them and are faster than you.
