Will a Campy Chorus 48-32 chainring fit on a Record crankset?

Hello, and thanks for input!

My main ride has Campy Chorus 2x12 with 48-32 rings and 11-34 cassette, rim brakes. This combo gives me a sub 1:1 granny gear (which I want, living in Colorado).

To this point, I had noticed an occasional "tick" or creak with the pedal that eventually fell off. I shrugged it off as just an idiosyncrasy but in retrospect, that should have been a warning to me.

My understanding is that aluminum doesn't ride nearly as well.

Managed 702 miles for last year. This year targeting 1600 and sitting at 780 at the moment.
